:P

Aw, ian!

If you do make an excuse, what kind might you make?

I think I would find it less awkward to just go on the date, but give off clear 'friend' signals, and then just not agree to another one, than to make an excuse to get out of this one.

I get ya I think, just say nothing type thing? Leave you to sort your own head out?

Not really ignore, just stay calm! In C.B.T, for example, the focus is not on making the sufferer believe that they really are beautiful and they are not as ugly as they think because it's still implainting the message that looks DO matter and can cause more harm than good. The focus is on teaching them to not give a damn what they look like and learning to cope in everyday situtions without worrying about it.

I'd agree with that, but I do actually like her, see that's the problem. If I went, and we would be drinking by the way, that plan I think would crumble!

Ah. Goodness me, you are a complex gentleman. :)

How about just taking it really slow? :)

But doesn't it make any difference psychologically that if someone is with you and they clearly want to be with you then they obviously see something whether you do or not?

Makes a lot of sense to me, actually.

    You could just not drink!
Then you could take it slow.

But that was kind of the point of going out. Well, half of it anyway.

See I'm not a drinker at all so she's a bad influence already :)

I dunno. I think I'll not go tomorrow and just see what happens in the future.
