Hehe! Thought you'd never make it, did you Badge?
'Twas an excellent sketch that one, btw. I did laugh
Dan
Nice one, Badge.

Hello,
We're writing to thank you for your submission to Recorded for Training
Purposes. We're sorry it's taken so long to get back to you - as you can
imagine, we were deluged with submissions (over 1500 sketches), and had
a relatively short period to put the show together.
As you may have guessed, your sketch wasn't shortlisted for inclusion in
the show. Sorry about that. We're going to keep your email address on
file so we can let you know about any future writing opportunities here
at BBC Radio Comedy, unless you tell us you'd rather not. There'll be a
new open-door topical sketch show starting on BBC Radio 7 in the next
few months, for example.
Thanks for taking the time to submit material. We hope to hear from you
again.
Cheers,
Ed Morrish
Producer, Recorded for Training Purposes.
That's probably the Tilt replacement show.
Yeah, I (and others judging by the genericity!) got an email saying that our sketches 'probably' got through to cast read-through, which is where they whittled it down to the 25-30 sketches needed for each episode.
Mind you, I quite like that I'm on a 'list' for good reasons rather than bad...
Dan
Anyone got any idea when the sketch list for tonights programme is coming? I've been checking the website all day, but not seen anything yet. Unless I'm looking at the wrong bit!

Cheers Griff. The Telegraph!
Congratulations but no buggering.
Quote: Griff @ January 22 2009, 5:09 PM GMTMikado, you've now posted your sketches TWICE in this thread. Please post sketches in Critique, not discussion threads. You can link to them from here if needed.
Griff, write! Stop worrying about me and what I do
If...
I don't know when the credits will be posted but my sketch made it onto the air last night - the terrorists deciding to plan in Unwinese.
I still want to know whether they gave them Birmingham accents because they were worried about being accused of racism or they couldn't manage Unwinese in an arabic accent.
Quote: Griff @ January 23 2009, 10:31 AM GMTWell, exactly. Other people have the common sense and courtesy not to spam their sketches twice in a discussion thread.
