The picture might have been flipped.

That's what I thought, but as a former newspaper employee that's BAD, BAD, BAD and is worthy of a correction if it's true.

Another photo shows the that the original was not flipped.

I read something funny today:

"All we did was get rid of the Joker and elected the Riddler."

Sounds fairly accurate.

Tuesday's stumble went largely unnoticed at the time.

Ummm, no it didn't. It was painfully obvious to anyone watching. The real question is whether any comedians will have the balls to make fun of it. George Bush would have been skewered alive with it, but several comedians have said they "just don't feel right" about making jokes about Obama.

I hope the kid gloves come off soon.

I imagine most just want to see what he does before they start making jokes, otherwise it's swinging at nothing. There's no point in kicking him for kickings sake, there have to be some concrete reasons first. Of course at the moment they could just take the mickey out of the worlds reaction to him, paint him as a Jesus figure, turning water to wine, and stuff like that.

Who cares about her wearing, or not wearing, a wedding ring?

It's still comparitively rare to get comedians digging at the liberals and left here. Most are hypocritical c**ts.

Who cares about her wearing, or not wearing, a wedding ring?

Have you never heard of tabloid news? If it's news when a Hollywood celeb is spotted without a ring it's news when the president's wife doesn't wear hers.

These things are micromanaged by stylists and advisers to an exquisite degree. Remember when Obama stopped wearing an American flag pin on his lapel? That didn't last long.

Er, no; not really!

Ahhh . . . so idiots care, I see. :D

Er, no; not really!

It was big news during the campaign.

That or liberals.

Just in case he forgets which country he's from.

That or liberals.

Like I said, hypocritical c**ts.

The "c**t" part I understand but I'd enjoy hearing you expound on the "hypocritical" bit once you've wiped the froth from your mouth.

On September 19, 2007 YKK (Yoshida Kogyo Kabushikikaisha - a global producer of zips, snaps & buttons etc.) was fined 150.3 million euros by the European Commission for running worldwide price-fixing cartels and sharing markets with zip-makers Prym and Coats.

First blood for Obama:

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) - Missiles fired from a suspected U.S. spy plane killed seven people Friday on the Pakistan side of the Afghan border, a lawless region where al-Qaida militants are known to hide out, officials said.

The strike was the first on Pakistani territory since the inauguration of President Barrack Obama.

Pakistani leaders had expressed hope Obama would halt the attacks, more than 30 of which have been launched since the middle of last year, reportedly killing several senior militants.

The pro-U.S. government routinely protests them as a violation of the country's sovereignty, but most observers speculate it has an unwritten agreement allowing them to take place.

One drone fired three missiles into the village of Zharki in North Waziristan, hitting two buildings, the intelligence officials said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

At least seven people were killed, but there identities were not immediately known.

The United States rarely acknowledges firing the missiles, which are mostly fired from drones believed launched from neighboring Afghanistan.

Pakistan's air force is not known to possess drones. NATO officers in Afghanistan say they respect Pakistani sovereignty.
