I would say putting the assistant's family into it, plus putting a romantic element into it is going down the soap route.

I dunno, I just see them as added dramatic elements, like they have in a ton of other dramas. Though yes, I could do without any more romantic stuff.

This image was to distract you from what I wrote above it.

It didn't work.

Consider yourself banned from England. :)
(Unless I'm on holiday)

Damn! That makes 3 countries I've never been to but am banned from!

Blink was the best episode of New Doctor Who. Would be great if Moffatt brought back Sally Sparrow.

Agreed. Carey Mulligan is brilliant, and lovely too.

Disneyland is not a country.

I think a lot of people would like that, but it more than likely won't happen.

You're probably right...but that guy in the Goofy suit was so charismatic I was sure he was a world leader.

Was Sally Sparrow a bit of a nod to Sally Lockheart anyway.

[given Billy P and the Tin Princess etc?]

Talking of Michelles I think Sarah Michelle Geller would be good as a Companion.

She's too busy doing shit remakes of Japenese/Chinese horror movies.

Griff - yes, I'd like the Tardis to go to other planets and not keep coming back to London to visit the assistant's mum. That's been done to death.

It was done to death before - in the John Pertwee era (staying on Earth all the time) - and had an effect on the ratings. Luckily the man who took over from Barry Letts was the best producer yet to work on the show. Moffat's not fit to lick the chewing gum in the tread of his shoe.

Well they're filming in Abu Dabi I believe, so welcome to the planet of the Women Space Ninjas and the South Asian slaves!

Not to mention Micheal Jackson lives there most of the time these days.
