Cowards.

Same here

*checks what that is*

Me too.

I've just seen Richard Madeley in a lift...

Nobs.

"It don't appeal to some people 'cause there's no pictures, and some people can't read"

:O

Hob?

And my mum was horrified at that!

I saw him in a lift once.

:D

It is quite scary that people need pictures of food. People not being able to read I can deal with.

Was he going down?

Is it me or is Cowards a little bit dull.

Seems to be the performance and pacing rather than the writing.

Was he going down?

It was in Selfridges, so more so living it up.

What else would you do if you couldn't read? Pictures are helpful, I know people who still point because the interaction with the waitress is too much for them.

One of the cavemen was basically Alan Partridge.

Have I seen one of them doing poetry somewhere recently? The one who set the mouse traps.

It's nice to have pictures.

Yeah Tim Key did poems on Charlie Brooker.

I doubt there are that many people who can't read, and putting pictures on a menu just incase one pops in seems a bit over the top. And, not trying to be flippant, but I'd imagine they know what they want to save embarrassment. Telling a waitress want they want to eat is too much for them?! Seems a bit lazy and/or ignorant to me.

Possibly on Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe.
