I remember being interviewed on that Ricky Gervais show and getting quite angry that Gervais shouldn't have got him on the show just to mock. The fat c**t.
If I remember watching it the essential goodness and decency of Tony dispelled Gervais's snideness like a small fart in a tornado.

In fairness Gervais played a version of himself that was so vile, evil and bullying it was at times hilarious. In a painful, shaming and embarassing kind of way. Is Ricky a nice guy playing a cock or just higly succesful cock?
I think the Extras Christmas special may have accidentally shown a really, nasty sneary persona underneath the nasty sneary persona.

Also check out some of his film roles, he may be a good comedian but he's a poor actor.

Fred and his family - I mean "church" - are great uniters. People of all races, religions and orientations hate them equally. I keep hoping they'll all pile in a bus and then drive it over a cliff.
