That's interesting, you might be able to do that as a kind of one-off adventure and see how you get on. It might help to pave your way towards trying a short plane trip.

I'm not that good with heights, but I've been on a plane and a helicopter and it didn't bother me at all. I didn't think about the possibility of a crash either.

Yes you're most probably right. A parachute jump might be something else to have a go at. I'd be in a plane but if it started to go down it wouldn't really matter so much :)

We were in the Army together (he was actually my instructor for a course called 'Principles of Satellite Communications' in 1986) so we're both trained to use firearms safely.

And how did you combine the two? By shooting at the defective GPS and SatCom units supplied for the course?

Been to Mojave. Love it. People might think it odd that my fav place in the world is a barren desert, close to Mojave, but then again maybe they don't. :O

I'm with Moonstone re: crashing - at least when a PC crashes it's normally non-fatal... normally.

I think I was introduced to the word about 25 years ago by this song:

Laughing out loud Thanks man I had no idea that show was being made.
Can't wait to see it, looks pretty funny!

Oh...and yes that is what a toque is. Isn't it easier than saying knitted hat?
And we use the word beanie to describe those small toques that don't cover the ears. A toque must cover the ears. :)

I could never do that! Do you mean a test jump in a hangar somewhere (i.e. training), or a real jump from a plane?

:S

Deserts are my favorite, too. Maybe it's because I was born in Las Vegas?

A real jump!
But then I'd need at least 3 alternative chords just in case one failed Laughing out loud

I bet the rush would be awesome - like sitting on the back row of a pirate ship ride that just keeps going on down!
