The brains thing is an invention of comedy I think. I can't recall a single straight zombie movie with the undead hungering for grey matter.

Herbert West's Zombies are just violenty. That one that bit off Dean Halsey's fingers just spit them out and didn't eat them.

Do they have horror conventions in the UK?
