The very last meal Page 3

Now we're having a major KFC love in (of which I am a big fan)
Ever noticed howmany legs and wings are broken?

What the f**k are they doing to their chickens?
And why don't they sell fried ducks? Why damn it! That'd be ace.

Sootyj is a big fan of those rectangular box meals that come with a burger. Especially as it's a great way to showing all the jobless shell suit wearing types who live there, that there are perks to working for a living.

N.B. KFC in Marble Arch now does breakfasts they're ace!

Nope. Never seen it. Not that I recall at least. Perhaps you're just that damned unlucky?

Ooooo!

If I'm ever going through at stupid o'clock, I shall stop and grab something!

I had the french toast, sausage, bacon and hash brown meal and a waffle.

I am almost considering taking an hour and a half detour through central London on the way to work to get the scrambled egg wrapstar meal.

I am such a loser at times.

I've been in the KFC at Marble Arch a couple of times when I've been visiting London and I think they do one of the best KFC chicken I've ever had.

They thought I was buying the shop actually.

But I'd want to cook it myself.

In case you got food poisoning? :)

That is a brilliant idea. :)

Timbo, can't watch the vid as I'm squeamish but I'm a strong supporter of the idea that people's right to choose to eat meat carries a moral responsibility for the well-being of the animal during the raising, transport, and slaughtering. Decent animal welfare should be (and is, in some notable cases) factored into the cost of the food.

Never, not while the Slaggs are still alive.

Yes, that is my view. I have no idea whether KFC's standard of animal welfare are as deplorable in the UK as in the US, but I try to avoid pork and poultry products unless I can be sure they are free range as any factory farming process involves a (for me) unacceptable level of cruelty. I will confess however to occasionally backsliding - the Colonel's secret blend of herbs and spices is very tasty... However it is the culinary equivalent of downloading dodgy internet porn - I feel dirty afterwards.

Even if one doesn't care in the slightest about the welfare of the creature I find it really hard to believe that people are quite happy to eat such low quality meat.

I have had a KFC when desperate. It was okay, but I felt dirty afterwards (and a bit sick) :)

When you're used to good quality meat you can really taste the difference. I often find non-organic chicken tastes a bit fishy, which I believe is down to the stuff they're fed.

Almost exactly my stance. My failing is corned beef.

This is my unique product selling point.

That film moved me so much I am going to buy a bucket of KFC and release it back into the community.

I would too. KFC is nasty hormone and steroid induced chicken.
