You could argue that, and you'd be wrong. It hasn't ended their career at all.
I don't think it has, but some people do - Country Radio for one. I don't like them personally (they're like Toby Keith's female counterparts), but I like some of their music. "There's Your Trouble" is a particular favourite.

I grew up with country too but I hate Brooks and Dunn country. I'm not sure you can even call it country. It's the retarded bastard child that ran off and became more famous than its parents.
Wow! Ronnie Dunn has the best voice in Country right now. Whoever can perform tracks like "Believe", and "She Likes to Get Out of Town" on the same album are all right by me. Ronnie and Kix are great - although I know they're more Country Rock. George Strait is one of my favourites. I think it's great that he's had more Number 1 singles than any other artist in the world. It goes to show that there are still masses of people who who have good taste.
I loved that "Jackson" video Dabutt linked with Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood. As Keith Barrat would say, "It's a bit of fun!"
