No, I can't stand small change and I'm not that tight.
I'm also too paranoid, whenever I see money on the floor, I never pick it up in case I'm part of some hidden camera show and they've super glued it to the floor or something.

I'm not a fan either, but I'm incredibly tight. (Oo er.)
If you saw a £1 on the floor, would you pick it up?

That's why you give it a little tap with your foot first.
£1? Yeah I probably would. I would want to clean it first though, because I'm also weird like that too, pretty much OCD-Lee
Well, I'd pick up any coin - well, British anyway. Even if it's just 1p, if I pick up 100 of them (and I have easily), then I've got another £1 for free!
But again, I'm really tight.
I swallowed a pound coin and it took a day to go through me. Would anyone pick that up? You'll be pleased to know its back in circulation.

Is that the Brown Pound?
It wasn't very prudent I can tell you.
If you live in UK the odds on you being murdered are 11,000 - 1. The odds on winning the lottery, as everyone knows, are 14,000000 - 1, so you are 1273 times more likely to be murdered than win the lottery and it doesn't cost you anything.
So did anyone win anything last night? Even a tenner???

I was in a pub last summer where the people at the table next to me had glued a £1 coin to the street outside to keep them occupied. About every thirty seconds someone would go to try and pick it up - quite funny actually.

I used to work as a glass collector, many moons ago, and I'd quite often find piss heads cash lying around. There was a 20 quid note on the floor one night, "Sweet" I thought. Cunningly I stood on the note and slipped it into my pocket. ALRIGHT! I got back behind the bar, where it was lighter, and less strobe lights, and it was a photocopy. Gutted. A group of fellas then proceded to take the piss out of me all night, asking me what I'm going to spend my money on.
Brains for them.
