What are you eating? Page 162

If you buy a little non-stick pan with a glass lid and fry an egg with the lid on the eggs cook really quickly and perfectly (and perfect yolk).
I think though that someone should invent a grilling machine specially for sausages, so you can do all sides at once and cook them equally.

George Foreman?

I tend to buy the Walls microwave sausages. Very quick, very easy, and nicely evenly done. Once they're cooked, just stick them in the pan along with the bacon etc for a few minutes so they pick up a bit of that smoked flavour. Easy. :)

I just ate a roast dinner, and far too much of it at that!

George Foreman?

Do you mean he could invent one or that his current one would do the job?

Hmm, like the sound of that. I didn't even know you could get microwavable sausages though, never seen them anywhere. And I bet they're dead expensive too.

One of the current grills should do it fairly well. You can pick up a Baby George for around £20. Well worth it IMO.

Well they're more expensive than the super-saver own-brand types which are loaded with gristle. Don't remember the exact price I paid, but they were I think the second cheapest (other) sausages on the shelf when I bought them on Friday night. Comes in a little blue cardboard box.

I used to get them, but my Tesco doesn't sell them anymore.
