What do you do to beat winter blues? Page 2

Laughing out loud nice.

I haven't gone ice fishing in a few years although it is pretty fun.
I went snow machining while visiting Sudbury this Christmas. I ski, cross country ski, skate the Rideau canal (the longest skating rink in the world), we're going sliding on tubes next Saturday but mostly...I just complain about how damn cold it is.
OHHH yea! My favorite part of winter is maple syrup + snow. Deeeeeeelicious.
On a side note a met a man from Poland the other day. He had been in Ottawa for two days now and besides asking me for directions he asked with a worried face "is the weather always like this?!". I thought it best to be honest with him and said "for this time of year...yes". He didn't look pleased.

I am thinking of taking a snow shovel to the ice today and making me a skate rink. Oh sooooooooo much fun!!

No ice skating took a snow car ride to the dunes

Here are folks waiting for me.

Here are the frozen dunes. You can not tell where the dunes end and the water starts it is so frozen.

The only way to get to the dunes is by snow car.

I just beat away the winters blues.

It was sooo icy and foggy this morning. But the ice still hadn't gone when I had to walk home after work and I slid all the way back.

NOT fun.

Felt like a right plum.

Aww!

My weather program was telling me it was -3 your way at 1pm!

It was flipping chilly!

It looked soooo pretty though. All the trees and grass and hedges were all white still and the blue sky was all sunny.

Yum.

Didn't you take any photographs? :(

I wish I'd had my camera today because there were loads of spider-webs perfectly preserved at school where they'd frozen. They were beaaautiful, but Andy said I was a "strange child" for being fascinated.

Yes we had loads of them tooo!

No. :(

I just wanted to get home before I fell on my arse.

Wish I'd thought of it though.

And a lovely arse it is too.

I like a cold bum, not a dead one, but cold skin feels lovely, as does warm skin. I'll shut up...
