I'm new on here, and was just wondering: Does anyone on this site actually have any proper experience working in television comedy? Or is it just a site for 20-somethings to talk about an industry they really know nothing about?

Yeah quite a few people do. It's not just a writers' site though it's for comedy fans as well, so it's a big mix up literally on all levels.
