Lee, your ISP may provide access to usenet servers.

How do I search for that?

Just ask them or check their website. Or you can take a wild stab and try news.xxx.co.uk, where xxx is the ISP's domain name.

Very few ISPs offer full Usenet feeds these days due to the huge storage capacity (terabytes per day) required, so you'll probably find that posts are incomplete, quickly deleted or not there at all. Premium Usenet providers will store the files for a long time and will also use multiple feeds to ensure comp, leteness of the posts. Giganews retains files for 240 days, for example.

The Diary of Anne Frank.

Yeah cheers, I tried that but there appears to be not much on there. Haven't had a proper look though, will do later.

:)

I keep forgetting to buy that box set. I saw the first few episodes and thought it was fantastic. Maybe it'll be in the sales?

It may well be. Do you have a Zavvi near you? They may be selling it cheap seeing as they are in adminstration.

Who's your ISP? Google "usenet on ISP NAME" perhaps?

The utterly awful Toucan, but it's OK, thanks. I've already done it.

QI on Dave+1, waiting for Argumental.

He looked bloody odd, sore throat or not. He looked a bit monged out. Maybe he was on some sort of drugs.
