I'm a big fan of Country. Any other fans here?

I love Goat Herder Bill and the Marrying First Cousin's. They're great. I particularly like the track 'I know ya my sister but I got a hard on'. Great stuff.

I am alergic.

I grew up with Country music playing, so it does spark some flares of nostalgia. But I don't think I would ever choose to listen to it.

Being a fan of Hip Hop, Funk, Ska and Jazz, Country, as you can imagine, doesn't do much for me. My Dad, on the other hand, loves it. He also loves Bluegrass, which, as you probably know, is really fast Banjo music. He also plays the banjo himself. I don't mind the banjo stuff, because it's so lively/fast, but Country is usually too slow and boring for me.

I really like a lot of modern Country music: Dixie Chicks, Sugarland, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes and the like. I quite like a bit of Dolly P too.

It's not as popular over here as in North America though, so it doesn't get as much coverage as there.

I love The Wurzels!!

Brad is one of the best singer-songwriters around at the minute. Sugarland are great, although I don't care for Keith Urban. And Nicole Kidman is always with him on these Country awards ceromonies. I know you're suppose to take your wife etc, but if I see her again I think I'll go mad!
