Not that I couldn't... I just didn't think to. I would have run in rain.
But, do you not even open your curtains? Or are they so thin and flimsy that they let enough light in so you don't actually need to?
Well I don't open the one in my room because I have to climb over my bed to get to it... and it's just a sheet because my landlord hadn't put in a curtain... and I couldn't be bothered to open the sitting room ones.
