Doctor Who... Page 262

David Tennant with a great or even above average script is good, really good.

No one else has got the Dr's mischievousness and also his sense of sadness.

When the scripts suck as they often do, not even Larry Olivier could have saved them.

That said when he does that gurny grinny bollocks, I want to hit him with a shovel repeatedly.

Rolling eyes

Or planet of the Ood.

Dr's daughter may have been the worst piece of TV ever.

Even Simon Cowell and Jonathon Ross in a wanking race would be preferable.

She was cute though.

Don't give us that emoticon shit.

Tell me with a straight face that Agatha Christie story didn't suck ass.

Or that bollocks about The Doctor's Daughter.

He said the scripts were often shit, they're not, in my opinion-clear enough?

I saw the Agatha Christie one. That was utter shit - worse than black orchid. Incorporating the titles of the novels into the script dialogue is the sort of thing that only someone with a very bad theatre sudies/time based media degree would think was funny or worthwhile. Or Mark Gatiss.

It wasn't a very good episode, certainly one of the poorest since its return. Worst TV ever though? Get real.

Indeed. I didn't even know there was an episode about the doctor's daughter, but I take it this wasn't Susan?

Yep.

Good.

Some clone thing. Not a proper daughter, just a tease. Poor episode anyway.

Planet of the Doom
The Dr's Daughter
The Unicorn and the Wasp
Midnight
The Journey Home.

Do me a favour and tell me how they didn't suck.

And I'm being generous enough to leave the Sontaran's killer satnav, that didn't kill anyone story.

Midnight was a good episode I thought.

Ok Midnight was ok, but that long, long introduction bleh!

Ok, Planet Of Doom-I assume you mean Ood. A bit underwhelming.

Doctors Daughter-Poor

Unicorn And The wasp-A fun enough romp, for me.

Midnight-Absolutely brilliant, one of the best of the last few years.

Journey Home-was that the last ep. of last year? Too bogged down with all the characters, but some great bits, such as when we realise what is going to happen to Tate and her sad end; a brilliant few minutes that.

There we go.

Just suspense building. I thought it was one of the better Tennant episodes.
