This is what all the trees looked like in the valley when I went for my run today
And when I got above the cloud line it looked like this.
But not quite as spectacular.

Yes neither is bang on really. The first doesn't do the scene justice and the second is OTT. Still, taking a camera/phone on a run is not really a good idea. Although at my pace there's not that much jiggling

I'm digging through boxes and containers for the stuff to bring to the desert next week. Power inverters, cameras, rock hammers, gloves, goggles, sleeping bags, boots, knives, fire starters, etc.
