After making few friends and quite a few enemies on the " Channel 4 Laughs " forum, [due to what I now realise was pure unadulterated arrogance ], I am now going to try my luck with you lot. My aim is to be " discovered " within a year, write a series of hit sketch shows until 2014, then retire with my wife and 4 lovely children to Colva Beach, Goa, India.

If this doesn't work I plan to do a bank job with a guy I met in Kilburn,
North London. He reckons security at these village banks "aint what it used to be mate ". His words not mine.

Hi Pete and welcome. Sure you'll enjoy this forum! Echoing David's comment we don't do a lot of arrogant here. But between us we can make up for it with funny (well sometimes!), thoughtful, drunk (one of my favourites!), ironic, interesting, on-topic (except at weekends), juvenile, too old to care, flippant, pissed off and completely daft. Oh, and if you spot our wimmin' (they're the ones with most of the talent!) then 'ands off ... we ain't figured out how to do raipe an' pylage yet (or even spell it right) in order to get some more! Otherwise have loads of fun and stick something in Critique so we can let you know which is most likely (the bank in Kilburn or Goa).

Thanks for the warm welcome folks and no Slag Brothers I haven't told Craigey67 about this place and to be honest I hope he never finds it.

The last I saw of him was at a scrap Metal dealer's on the outskirts of Birmingham. He was getting into a fight about an old yellow Capri which he claimed was his Uncle Ted's. Left him to it. Silly sod.

Doesn't even have an Uncle Ted as far as I know.
