I totally freaked out. at first they offered to call my mum but I was in no state for her so eventually they called little Chris (of the magicians) and he sat with me and helped to explain all the complex stuff. There has apparentaly been a lot of suspect devices appears recently on cash points in my town and they think it was one of them that got my details as I am soooooo careful online.
There are some real pieces of filth walking around. It's a shame that that you had to encounter them. They need someone routinely checking the machines and they need to issue warnings as to what to look for in a tampered machine

Never been denied.
The worse part is sitting there trying to work out what they have taken. Nearly £2000 in my case, taking me right up to the limit of my overdraft.

Twats. You'll get it sorted but that's not the point is it? Of all the times to do it! Too many people on this planet are wankers and scum
At least you've got u...oh never mind, that prob won't help
Someone made illegal charges to my parents' card a few years ago and they had their money back in less than 48 hours. Hopefully you'll be as lucky.
My company mailed $100 American Express gift cards to all 12 of the employees who couldn't attend the annual Christmas party. A few days ago they asked for confirmation that we'd received them and it turns out they never made it out of Los Angeles. Someone at the post office snatched them and charged every penny at Wal-Mart, gas stations and restaurants. They've decided to just add the money to our paychecks from now on.
Wal-Mart? Party!

They were probably buying the essentials: beer, diapers and cheap Chinese-made crap.
Sorry to hear this, Ruby. I had something similar a couple of years back, but luckily it was easy to pinpoint the dodgy transactions as they were all taking place in China! God knows how they got details of my card, as I am careful with it, and have not had this happened before or since. Fingers crossed. The banks are pretty good, and should help rectify the problems.
Well, I've been watching some Father Ted and had some ready salted twirls and a can of coke. It's all happening here, just waiting for the page 3 models to arrive with the champers.
Only 37 mins to go until 2009.
