Them spending the new year come in watching all my couple friends embrace, feeling alone and desperatly hoping someone will text me to validate my existance on this planet.
You may have spotted I'm not a fan of new year and find it mildly depressing. 
I have never celebrated New Year, it just never seemed like a big thing to me. I will probably do what I do every year, watch Jools Holland and then go to bed.

But very rarely out the blue, I'm a texter but never a textee it seems.

I don't see the big deal. New year, same shit as the old year. I will be spending the evening at home, then hope to get to sleep in advance before people start letting off fireworks and celebrating. Bastards.
