I disagree, you need a break from time to time. Internet can be the break. 
I've got PG Tips.
Mine was a serious one.
But here's one I always tell those foolish enough to ask my adivce.
Sketches can generally always be; shorter, simpler and funnier.
Awaits piss taking.

That's not a writing tip though, you could apply it to anything. And I don't believe the principle is sound either.

Mark I like to think I'm usually not that irritable. But if you're an actual professional writer why not; offer some tips, don't offer tips. Either way stop being superior of what you deem to be the poor quality of others tips.

SootyK I like to think I am not too irritable too. In fact I tried to help you yesterday come to terms with what exposition is. Genuinely. Silly me. I love your 'if you're an actual professional writer' bit too. I did offer a tip. I did as Griff suggests try and wrest the thread back on track as to writers tips in a humorous manner. I didn't have my head up my arse I hope. Happy New Year.
In terms of sketch writing, structure is the key. If you can come up with a premise for a sketch, then the jokes will come easily if you can get the context right. Spend as much time as possible on figuring out the best way to relate your concept.

Anyone who does not think my tip was proper has a big head up a big arse......YUP!!!!
