Most of it on a video poker machine. I'm not much of a gambler, but if you're gambling drinks are free (plus a dollar or two tip) so it's cheaper to gamble and drink than it is to drink and do nothing.
My father and I went to the Atomic Testing Museum this afternoon. He had fun relating his 1950s experiences with above-ground nuclear blasts to the other visitors.
We checked the records and found that he'd been at 68 atmospheric tests plus several dozen underground tests a few years later as a civilian.
I spent $100 and bought my father a commemorative brick for the museum walkway. He was very excited.
Roo is still ick but braved half a cheese toastie.
Just got back from up north visiting the family.
