2009 promises. Page 2

Yikes.
Hate that word.

I think 2009 promises are far too many to make.

I promise to take up a hobby that involves moving a bit so that I don't drop dead from a heart attack when I'm 40.

The sugar in the chocolate is the physically adictive element. It's probably a good idea to give up both at the same time. You'll go cold turkey similar to a heavy smoker and early stage alcoholic.

Sugar is actually an unbelievabley adictive substance.

Sootyj aims to be twice as patronising and three times as sanctomonious as he was last year.

Sometimes I feel like I'm really thirsty, and go looking for a can of coke, then I realise I'm not really thirsty at all, and that I'm just craving the sugar in the coke.

Take the sugar out of the coke and throw it away. Temptation over.

I gave up sugar for two years when losing all my weight but at the time I ate sugar free chocolate so it may be harder giving it up all together but I want to try. Part of it is body issues, the other part is tummy issues. I want to try :)

I gave up crisps for a year a while ago, and have never eaten them in the same quantity since. It's defo a good plan if you're determined, Ruby.

I mean sugar and alcohol have contributed to whole peoples who only recently camed into contact with civilisation recently.

First nation Australians, Fijian islanders, chavs....

Why would you want to change your name to Les and abuse one of the 7 dwarves?

Further resoloution invent the worlds worst pun.

I promise to stop stealing toilet roll from work.

To try and work harder. And grow taller.

I have decided to give up chocolate from the 1st Jan until 25th Dec 2009. I have a bad weakness for it and it's not good for me as I am slightly intolerant to it. Plus it makes me break out in fat. I need to break the addiction. I'll still have sweets. Just no choc.

I'm also going to spend less (Save up for one big shopping trip rather than go mad every pay day), attend at least one BSG bash (I am aiming for summer at my best chance), learn to drive, and get my certifcates in IT and counselling :).

Are you training to be a Counsellor?

My new years res is to have more sex. And not just in my mind. This will also result in economic savings on tissue paper and through this I will be more environmentally friendly and eventually save the world. Good resolution I reckon. Cool
