Doctor Who... Page 253

Makes a little more sense then. Given the context!

Current Who is at times good and at times maddeningly squashed and sentimental.

Where as old Who was perfection.

Hee!

I'd like to see a big 6 parter . . . I'd also like to see 2-3 companions and some squabbling and the Dr actually being a bit of an imperious dick at times.

There are several reasons why modern Who has been such a big hit, not listening to what fans want, or doing any of the above, are but two of them! :D

Maybe there'll be another series of Torchwood, the show every bit as good as Dr Who.

There is a third series next year, only it's very different to what's gone before. It is, I think, going to be on BBC 1, and is one story, over five or six episodes, to be shown on consecutive nights. Should be interesting.

Isn't David Tennant dead or something?

He got better . . . although listening to the audio commentary for the Next Doctor RTD thinks that his back problems may have been his fault . . .

He hurted his back a bit. He is fine.

He mocketh me in the first paragraph and agreeth in the second.

Has my dear friend Stott, finally lost his little plot?

Also micro budgeted Who of you're did ok precisely by having longer more developed stories and more regular characters.

I'd love to see David Morrissey as the next Doctor. When he was convinced he WAS the Doctor, he played it with real gusto. I doubt it'll happen though. :(

I liked Rossita, she was a proper spunky assisstant and so was that other bloke.

She was crap!!!

The weak link of the whole show.

Yeah, they were good too.

and so was that other bloke.

I would have liked him to leave with The Doctor.

The boy was okay. I would have like Morrisey as a companion though.

The other bloke? Wasn't he only in one flipping scene, untying the TARDIS-balloon's ropes?

2 scenes I think. He was a bit more natural though, not screeching in a bad cock-er-nee accent like Rosita was.
