I knew it! I called it the first day. Black Dr. Who.

They're taking over.

Blasphemy!

"The CBC in Canada aired the final episode of Doctor Who season 4 (4×13) in Canada on Friday night - in a bastardized edited form that made the show impossible to watch.

The CBC editted nearly 20 minutes out of the episode which was the season finale!"

Yeah, and I'm sure that Tony Blair is lovely in private, but it doesn't make me feel bad to say that he's a c**t. ;)

You claim not to be a writer and yet you use this most evocative, divisive and metaphorical of words. More yet, you know the response it will engender and flourish it with gay abandon. What is the difference do you think twixt you and others here, who use words to create a world view, a world philosophy or a world, simply, of their own imagining?

Um. I'm not quite sure what you're getting at?

Well, I'm not sure if it's because I'd been looking forward to it for a long while, but I thought it was pretty mediocre to be honest.
Not a memorable episode by any means, but it was still nice to see Dr Who back.
The Cyber King looked awesomo.

I liked it!

The cyber king was very cool.

I liked it, but a giant sufragette powered cyberman?

Even a fully medicated Tom Baker would have doubts about it.

Well I didn't dislike it, just kinda so-so about it compared to some of the shows in the past.

But they were almost all written by Moffat so at least this one's got me in the mood for what should be a great series ahead.

They should have had Moffat write this one as well.

It wasn't as good as the other Christmas specials, but I enjoyed it, and it was just so nice to have the show back on.

I liked it. It was better than last years "Voyage Of The Damned," but I guess it's kind of hard to top "The Christmas Invasion." I thought David Morrisey's "Doctor," was great. It was just a load of bonkers fun really. Also it reminded slightly of Indiana Jones.

P.S. It was nice to see all the 10 Doctors. 9th Doctor FTW.

Oh yes actually, you're right. It was better than the one with Kylie. She f**ked that right up. Wooden tosser.

Agreed.

I liked it, but these Christmas specials are never all that great; the first one so far has been the best. Morrissey was very good though.

Tennant's first one was f**king brilliant.

Tennant's first one was f**king brilliant.

It was good, but they've slunk along in okays-ville since then. I hope the series of specials we get next year aren't just like the Christmas specials, otherwise it's going to be a long wait for Moffats new series. I do like the specials, I like any Who to some degree, but the Christmas specials are, I suppose, serving a different purpose to the series proper. That said, I can't wait for the next Christmas one, as obvioulsy it's going to be a big one what with Tennant regenerating.
