My Mother used to make steamed pork and onion pudding and steamed jam pudding - absolutely delicious but you couldn't move for hours after eating them.

Does sound great. Proper cooking-if there is such a thing.

Anyhoo Roscoff is about to have dinner and then out with mates for drinky-poos. All be good and make sure you go to bed early 'cos santa's not going to leave you any presents if your a nosy little f**ker. Angelic

:D

Had goose last year. It's a bit ... odd. Weird meat; not nice, but not not nice either. A slightly odd aftertaste perhaps.

Did it have a fruit covering on it?

No.

That is the best way to cook goose. I use orange and peach cooked down with brandy and molasses and cover it all over the bird prior to cooking

Bleugh. Sounds nasty.

That's extremely hard.

You've said that before.

Letting the news that Zavvi has been placed into administration sink in

Just seeing this on the news.

Shit, have they. I bought alot of presents in there yesterday, bastard, could it not have happened a few days ago I would have saved a fortune.

No doubt if you'd bought online you would have saved even more.

I did buy some stuff off play.com and it hasn't arrived yet, luckily it is for my brother and I won't see him untill Saturday, so hopefully it will be here by then.

You didn't buy in time!

You didn't buy in time!

It was last Sunday I bought it, suppose I should have organised something before then but it's too late to worry about it now.

Well I'm off, everyone have a nice Christmas.

Yup, that's definitely not in time.

ANd byeeee!

Merry Christmas Ned!
