I read and reread it, it was a poor attempt to cash in on Watchmen (which is a work of genius).

Nah, don't agree, I love it. Love Watchmen too. The Sequel to Returns isn't even half as good though.

I quite liked the one with the Cult.

I did a whole bunch of sketches on what I thought was off about Batman.

What was off? I just wrote a Batman sketch yesterday.

Are there any good monthly comics at the moment? Usually they go through peaks and troughs depending on the artists or writer who are working on them at the time.

Most good stories are collected as graphic novels, so it may be worth getting them instead, as I often find if I try to collect the separate issues I miss one or two, and if it's popular the dealers whack the price up, so it's easier, and cheaper to just get the novel.

Ah you'll have to read them.

But generally, evil psychopath kills 100s of people or maybe just a few.

Bats beats them up and gets them locked up.

They escape and do this again.

That's sado masochism not super heroism.

He just likes wearing a kinky mask and hitting people.

Graphic novels are a more satisfying format.

What ever happened to Howard Chaykin? He was top bollocks.

Well who doesn't?

Yeh but I don't claim to be a superhero.

Hang on you also wear kinky masks and hit people?

Have we gone to the same clubs?

I'm Wizzhits, recognise my costume from my avatar?

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised. Batman is really Rorshach in a glam costume.

And a fictional character. We do all know that, right?

I like The Bash Street Kids.

I like ironically referencing Beano in comic book discussions.

Rorshach meets Batman?

Wouldn't that be a disturbing kinky little comic......

My superhero identity is,

Scat Man!

I don't take shit, I dish it out.

That would be good, Batman & Rorschach. You'd have to have Marshal Law appear half-way through and give them a thick ear.

Marshal Law now there's a good reference, anymore kinky heroes?

Course during their shenanigans I suspect Robin would be locked in the bathroom calling Childline.

The good old Gunisher, I love the recent Mark Millar stuff with him.

I'd love to see a really good Punisher film. Directed by John Woo. Now that would be tasty.
