I had some disagreements with how 4laughs was run to say the least (part of the reason I left).
But I along with a few others where the first to sign up and post (cosmos100 if anyone remembers?), we had a real laugh, exchanging ideas and really gave me a push to work harder (seeing some of the competition you had too!).
Even though I don't visit it's a shame for it to go and I hope it returns someday!
RIP 4laughs - I shall leave a rose on your grave every year - actually maybe a daffodil twice a decade, I'm a busy man…

And I certainly remember Cosmos100 - especially a particularly good estate agent sketch if I remember rightly??
Anyway, there's some hint that 4laughs may return in some shape or form, just not sure what / when....

I'd like to add that it's a real shame 4laughs has gone - it gave a lot of people inspiration, opportunities, friendships and advice.

Its definitely saddening to see it go. It was a nice little community there with lots of fantastic people; Junkmales, doc Vole, midgetgems, monkeylover, rubes, loopey, the slaggs, uhtmilk and fay herself.
It gave me a lot of confidance to continue writing. I won a few comps and some great prizes.
It was a breath of fresh air to find a site that was actually looking for people to submit material. I think we can all say we learned and honed and nurtured our writing skills because of the site.
Farewell 4laughs.
Also it allowed me to meet Davina. Oh luvverly, luvverly Davina...
And I echo the same about meeting the lovely lovey Fay
And I met Danny and Otterfox and no amount of therapy can destroy the memories.
But me and him aren't about to give up on the therapy, their's hope yet
