Christmas Tips

I gave my postman a fiver today. Does anyone else give Christmas tips or are you too tight?

Yep, postman, milkman and the kid who delivers the paper in the evening. I will probably give the delivery driver from the local chinese something as well because he makes at least 2 trips a week to my house.

My Christmas tip is watch out for reindeer poo.

I once gave a taxi driver an extra tenner. This was because he'd just picked me up from a betting shop, where I'd just won almost a grand, on a football accumulator bet. It was also because he was so funny. He told me this story about a mate of his who used to gamble quite a lot, which I won't go into. I don't gamble anymore by the way.

Apparently our milkman is getting five pounds.

We don't have a regular postman, it's all sorts of different men (and women). So f**k em! Plus, you know, possible strikes and that. Buggers.

AFAIK there's been no threat of strikes anywhere around here. Maybe that's why you didn't get that thing for so long! :O

I want some of those.

Dr Mato are you rich? Extremely generous? Or a phenomenal shop lifter?

I don't get serviced well enough to give any one a tip.

The hand warmers......Oh yes they are great. I wish I had some of those back on the rez. Ice fishing.... I about froze to death. I also sent some back to my family.

I am not rich but also no longer poor. I know what it is like to be 13 and have no proper winter clothing. This boy works very hard for me. He is polite and reliable and has come to help me with much work. It saddens me to see him in 2 foot of snow with old beat up sneakers in 6 degree weather. He deserves to be warm.

The postal lady........ she is a friend and has kept an eye on my house for me and brings the mail inside when I am away.

This would keep you warm
