I see all of these commercials at least once a day. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=W3oNNgM6P7E
Worst adverts ever. Page 3
Quote: Ned1984 @ December 18 2008, 2:02 PM GMTThat is quite wonderful.
Agreed.
The ads on Dave during the comedy bits, for Cobra beer/lager (I dunno). If anyone here is responsible for the shit jokes ( and I use the word lightly) they use, they should be banned. From life.
Oh God. Those "Made for the BBC, chosen by G.O.L.D./Dave" things after and before programmes make me want to kill people.
Elephant.com. I wake up in a cold sweat thinking of the elephants head stuck on a man's body. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

It's not really an advert but it's got bras and junk food, what more do you need?
Werther's.
The Frosties Kid. We have a joke in our house that whenever an annoying person who'll be ostracised for their being in a bad advert comes on the TV, in said bad advert, we shout "Frosties house!" like it's some kind of protection program.

You might enjoy this then...
Quote: Griff @ December 18 2008, 1:28 PM GMTAnd to add insult to injury they broadcast the adverts at about ten times the volume of the programmes. When Kerry opens her mongy gob it's like a Harrier Jump Jet taking off.
And the horrible irony that they think the Iceland adverts will work during breaks on "Mock the Week" on Dave and Hugh Dennis does the voiceover . . . and of course Mr Boyle's opinion of the Kerry Catatonic.
Is there any way of pasting these YouTube movies straight into these threads without navigating away from the page?
No. Not yet.
Any adverts with small print at the bottom of the screen (which qualifies the real deal available).
Any adverts with English dubbed over the original foreign dialogue.
Any car adverts showing left hand drive models.
On that note, I have noticed that some advert-makers have given the vehicle a registration mark which would translate OK if mirror-imaged.
Is it too difficult to mirror-image an advert? The only downside I can see is that the driver's wedding ring would be on the wrong hand.

That's exactly WHY they give them those numberplates in the ads. It's a pity that they don't always bother to then do the flip.
Modern ads are really bad. Whatever happened to the charm of ads like the robots in the "for Mash get Smash" ads? Or the secret lemonade drinker? I hate the car ads, the constant never-ending ads for insurance and anything with sexism in it, i.e. where the ad pokes fun at men but would cause a huge row if they reversed the theme and poked fun at women.
