Is Ronnie's son still on the run on child porn charges?

Good theme though.

Other Ronnie, but theoretically yes.

It's generally reckoned he jumped off a ferry.

The Larry Sanders Show had a pretty jaundiced streak, although in it's own way the relationship between the three main characters was pretty touching (or cetainly the relationship between Artie and Larry).

Fawlty Towers too. Basil was never going to win.

I reckon all the best sitcoms feature losers that make us all feel better.

"The Thick of It" can be rather mean, especially whenever someone got told off by Malcolm Tucker.

And yet I still felt sorry for Tucker when his empire started to crumble.

The film version is to get its premiere next month.

Looks great.

Alan B'stard's treatment of Piers was probably the worst bullying on TV.

And I bet how Cameron treats Boris for real.

Steptoe and Son. What Albert did to his son was horrendous.

When you really think about it most sitcoms are a bit cruel. We are a sick lot......eh? :D

I guess humour's cruel, period. It needs a victim.

One of the cruelest and slightly out of character things I can recall in a sitcom, was a later episode of Seinfeld where Jerry steals some bread off an old lady. Never sure about that.

Nighty Night.
