That *is* a brilliant film! Scary though.

Haven't seen that.
It's ace - well the original is, I've not seen the remake. It's got Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder in. It is now a must for Christmas.
The worst ever Christmas movie is The Perfect Storm. Sure - it's not set at Christmas but it's so bad it must qualify for anything with 'Worst' in it.
Not Knockworst obviously.
Though I don't know.

Hmmm I might check it out.
What about Home Alone and Trading Places?

You do that.

Both excellent choices. I also agree with the earlier Die Hard and Bridget mentions and Love Actually. Cheesy though it is, I just can't dislike it.
Oh, and Harry Potter always used to mean Christmas, until they started messing about with the release dates!
Yesss!!
Those absolute f**kers.
Willy Wonka (Gene Wilder version) is quite Christmassy...
Howwwwww?!??!
(Agreed on HP dates. VERY angry Aaron. C**ts. )
I don't know how. I guess it must have been shown over Christmas on TV quite a lot when I was a kid. Wizard of Oz too.
Even if Roald Dahl hated it himself, I love it.
Me too!
Stephen King hated The Shining too.
Writers don't know anything about films.
But then who writes the films?
Okay okay, authors don't know anything about films. They should keep out of 'em.
Santa Claus The Movie, it's a piss poor film but it doesn't feel like Christmas untill you've seen it.
