I am an atheist...

yet I give presents at Christmas and expect loads in return. Expensive ones for that matter.

I am a hypocrite. Who will join me in this yearly fraud-fest? Come on, I know you're out there.

Tum dee dum. Whistling nnocently

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

But I don't think it's hypocritical. :)

I celebrate Christmas because it's a tradition within my family. We don't do any of the Jesus stuff anyway.

I shall join you. I do not celebtate this thing called Christmas, but I like presents and made this for my friends to have fun with..... my present to them.

For those who missed my earlier presentation.

Who me?

Hurrah for fellow hypocrites. May we live to see many Christmases and open many Christmas prezzies.

Who me?

As we posted in exactly the same minute, that seems a bit unlikely, doesn't it?

Do you think I would notice post times? ;)

I'm with you Oldcow.... total atheist, but I enjoy the whole atmosphere, the whole show that is Christmas - the lights, trees, music, TV shows and movies. Bring on the prezzies... yeah!!!!

Yeeeeeeehaaaaa to that!

I'm a humanist I believe in the humane and selfless elements of religious faith. Of which I haven't really seen copied in the aetheist world.

But I don't believe in God as described by religion or as comprehensible by humanity.

I absolutely think the comercialisation of Christmas to be horrible.

I don't give cards or presents and generally return presents.

Frankly Christmas with out religion is about as close to Satanic worship as you can get, before you start hacking out human hearts.

And where as I am nominally Jewish I don't do Hannukah.

That's an even sillier festival.

You truly are mental. :)

Yeah but Soots wouldn't you rejoice if you got an airmac for Christmas? ;)

I'm definitely thinking about Satan and worshipping his firey red hooves while I'm giving presents to the people I love, eating turkey and putting up fairy lights.
