After you've pegged it... Page 2

We are selfish. We don't want people to leave us. We are angry and sad when they do. Simple.

Yeah, I don't think many people who believe in heaven are unafraid to die. If any.

But it must be some comfort though, at least? I have to say if I felt convinced I was going to live on in some way it would make it much much easier for me personally.

Yup.

?

I don't understand this :S

Pretty straightforward we grieve because we selfishly want the person to stay around.

Even if we believe they're going to Lissian fields and Ambrosia.

Agreed. Everything we do is selfish. But it's not always a bad thing.

Didn't say it was bad.

Oh I know, I was just kind of adding to what you said.

I don't believe any of them are completely convinced. I think they all know deep deep down they are bullshitting themselves.

I mean, they're not stupid, they're just religious.

I don't think you're right tbh zooo. I bet they would say the same thing about your 'denial' of God. Lots of religious people are so utterly brainwashed (not all) that they even see doubts as a test from God.

I had some church people knock on my front door this week and talk to me about God. They invited me to their special Christmas service next weekend and prayed for me.

How patronising of them.

Haha!

They're so nice aren't they?

I agree, I'm sure they do feel the same.

Luckily I know I'm right.
