Are you having less these days or what?

With all the talk of global monies meltdown do you have less yet. If you do, what less of what do you have? :D

In translation:

Have you cut back on your financial outgoings "in the current economic climate", and if so, what have you dropped your spending on?

Nothing's changed for me yet. Gasoline is less than half the cost of what it was a few months ago, so I'm probably saving an extra $50-75 each month. With the drop in interest rates I'm thinking about refinancing my house to save even more money.

Griff, why did you leave your job without another one lined up? Or were you fired?

I'll give you a tenner to wash my cab, Griff.

It would amuse me to have an odd job man who knows the difference between a synecdoche and a metonym.

Oooh! I know that! o/

Ahh, I see. Not the best time to be a freelancer. (So I'm screwed.)

Nothing has changed for me, I never used my credit card before unless it was for something over the internet and I never used my overdraft, ever. As long as I have the money in my pocket to buy something and I want and don't have to get into debt for it, then I'll buy it.

Smart way to handle monies.

My dad drummed it into all of us growing up, but I think I was the only one who took any notice. I seem to number 1 on the 'ask him for a loan list' with my brother and sisters.

I hope that you tell them to f**k off?

Or at least charge 40% interest.

Interest, haha. I don't usually get it all back in one go. If they borrow £20 I will probably get it back £10 one week and £10 the next.

I don't think that will be necessary. A uniform will be provided.

Well I'm sure Godot would rather have you "wash his cab" than me.
