Gavin - do you like anything by Slade, or is it just that song?

I love "Everyday".

The Slade one.

It's my mission in life to put Holder in a rocket and fly him in to the center of the sun for that song.

For that opinion you deserve to be cheese-grated to death from the toes upwards.

That song IS Christmas.

I'll be ok, I'm not made of tissue paper.

Fairytale Of New York.

That's one of the only good ones!

I hope Shane McGowan bites you with his Shetland Pony teeth.

Only good Christmas songs, or only good Pogues tracks? There are plenty of the former, so I'm assuming the latter.

No latter, Christmas song is a bit like "mechanically recovered meat,"

a few words meaning; "contains offal, bollocks and not fit for human

consumption,"

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl are rather good.

Fairytale Of New York.

You're kidding, right? That's one of the best Christmas songs ever.

Cliff Richard makes me feel very killy.

Do They Know It's Christmas-both versions is a teed-fest that blows horse cock.

That one The Darkness done was awful, Don't Let The Bells End or something like that.

Yea I hate that song too "Do they know it's Christmas" what a terrible song.
But I still hate Jingle Bell Rock more. Even that scene from Mean Girls can be enjoyed on mute.

I hate all Christmas music really, except Charlie Brown Christmas music. That always put me in a good mood. I also used to hate Christmas specials when I was a kid. I would get really angry since we only had 2 channels to watch and all that was playing at prime time was the same Christmas cartoon I'd seen 10 times before.

Not in the slightest.

I like it - mainly because whenever I hear it, my mind swaps

"Christmas time, don't let the bells end"

for

"Christmas time, come lick my bell end".

Which my peurile sense of humour finds quite amusing.

You shameful bastard.

Well it's good to know I'm not the only one who does that. I do it with tons of songs, ABBA's Take A Chance, whenever they are repeating the 'take a chance, take a chance, take a chance', I like to sing 'Jackie Chan, Jackie Chan, Jackie Chan.' Am I weird?
