On the recent Charlie Brooker's Screenwripe writers' special, Linehan himself pronounced it as separate characters. The I T Crowd.

Fair enough. I thought I'd heard or read somewhere that he'dsaid it was pronounced 'it' obviously I was wrong.

Maybe he's not sure either.

No, I'm pretty sure I've seen him state 'it' too!

As long as he doesn't ever refer to it as the 'Information Technology Crowd', eh?

There used to be a song called the In-Crowd so I think actually it's supposed to be a bit ambiguous - like a joke.

Yes... Much like the phrase "the it crowd" being a term for "the cool kids".

Such as 'it girls' and the like.

Tara Palmer Tompkinson and... the other one.

Is that the one they used for the In-Phone ads in the 80s?
"I'm in with the In-Phone, I go where the In-Phone goes" or something!

I am enjoying this series. I thought series 2 was a bit hit or miss

Dear. God. They postpone the start of the show for this wanker?

I didn't think it was possible to hate him more.

I know, it is quite an achievement.

"This, Jen...Is the internet..." Amazing. Laughing out loud
