You all better get out from behind the computer and shop while you can. I was hoping they would stay alive, boo hoo for them.
Oh NO Woolies has to have closure sale
It is really sad. I used to love getting those pick and mix tubs from them
I don't know where the nearest one to me here is. Or I'd be straight there.

Maybe wait until opening hours?
It's not a surprise it's shutting. It's totally obsolete. I think WH Smiths will follow one day.
Followed by the whole high street as everyone shops online and all that's left are coffee bars and pubs.
Nooooo, not WHS!
I love them. Don't saaaay things like that.
Hopefully at least the ones at stations would stay.
(I love WHS too.)
It's a real shame and the end of an era for a great British retail institution. I feel nothing but contempt for these carrion - feeding vultures who will be swooping down on Woolies across the land tomorrow, picking their bones clean of juicy bargains. Juicy bargains like a 42 inch lcd telly I saw in Big W today, which will have 50% off tomorrow morning 9am. And I'll fight anyone who tries to get to it before me.
I went in Woolworths today.
I guess I got one of the last FULL PRICE Chocolate Oranges.
Damn.
Oh my God. Get me to a W quick.
How much will it be, Lee?
