They're never broadcast. So no.

They're available on DVD and video though. I think most kids will find much of it a bit slow I'm afraid. Uncle Feedle is a bit scary too.
Yeah, but most kids don't exactly go out and buy DVDs themselves, do they? And even if they do, they'd only choose stuff they already know, love, and recognise. It's down to the parents to own the DVDs and have the will and time to show them to their kids.
Maybe, but kids see stuff when they go shopping (even at the supermarket) and ask for it because it looks good. Also sometimes the newspapers give away DVD - I recently got a Captain Pugwash this way.

That's a euphemism, right?

Sadly not. Those rumours about the inneundos in the show aren't true either.

Tell that to Seaman Stains.
I swear they are actually there, save from Roger the cabin boy who was actually called Tom?
That's quite disappointing.
They sailed in the Black Pig. There was a Pirate Willy. And Master Mate... seems pretty euphemistic to me. And there's no shame in it, either.

Black Pig and Pirate Willy. Where's the innuendo there?

Black Pigs are negroes. And Pirate Willy is surely referring to a pirate's, er, willy.

Do they not broadcast old kids shows at about 6 in the morning on Channel 4 any more?
Remember Alfred J Kwak? Now that was deep for a kids TV show.

Bloody hell - that's a bit tenuous isn't it?
I bet you snigger at Winnie the Pooh (it's a turd called Winnie) and think Humpty Dumpty is a euphemism for anal sex?
