When watching the first half of 'The Likely Lads' movie, I thought, at last, a movie that has matched its sitcom in quality. But the second half was pretty naff, so then I soon changed my mind.
I forgot about the Till Death film. I liked it. It was nice to see Alf and Elses' back story.
It sure as shit wasn't the League of Gentlemen movie. I'm going to go with Leevil and say Naked Gun.

Wasn't it just three TV episodes with a bit of re-writing to link them together? I remember watching it and thinking "What the f**k? I've seen this story before!"

Haha! That is excellent. I can just see the writers room, it's a Friday, somebody just says "F**k it, stick these three episodes together and let's get down the pub."
I know, technically, it was shit, but I do recall enjoying the Bottom film when it came out. Whatever it was bloody called.

Guest House Paradiso
It's one of my guilty pleasures.
It's not strictly speaking a spin-off, but to my mind it 'sort of' is, so I'll toss 'Shaun Of The Dead' into the hat.
Ah, that's the fella. Haven't seen the film for ages, but yeah, enjoyed it when it came out. Got a slating, but it wasn't really designed to be Citizen Kane, was it! I guess you either love Bottom or don't. And I do. Anything involving that much vomit has got to be funny!

I saw Guest House Paradiso long, LONG before I saw bottom. Perhaps a decade or more. And I love it.

I think the only difference in the film was that Philip was exposed as not being a son of a African King but is in fact from Croydon.
Suppose that's a Third world area for some people.
