Man I'm throwing down the questions and I have only joined today.
Okay, if television was invented earlier what stars of stage and screen would you like to have seen in a sitcom?
For example:
I know he did a radio sitcom but would have loved to have seen either Oh, Mr Porter! or Ask A Policeman made in to sitcoms. Think they would have worked brilliantly.
So many echoes of Dad's Army in those Will Hay films.
What about a flat-share sitcom with George Formby and a random Nazi.

In regard of linear time I suppose you right. But I saw Dad's Army before Will Hay.
