Sitcom - appraisal welcome Page 12

Dave- sorry to hear you have jacked it in. I think that you could have got some more use out of the feedback you were recieving. Also i think having watched lab rats on Thursday it should be clear to everybody yours is a better version of this type of humour and anyone who disagrees with me is just lying. I really think that you shouldn't quit.

You just shouldn't.

Anyway i have got some song lyrics i found on the internet i thought might be of comfort to you.

Good luck Dave

EVERY LOSER WINS - 18/10/1986
3 weeks at #1 - 13 weeks on chart

We nearly made it
We nearly found the perfect combination
The road was right, we must have read the signs wrong
And now it's all gone

But if we'd made it
Could we be sure that it was for the better
Who could say we would have stayed together
Nothing is certain, in a changing world

Every loser wins, once the dream begins
In time we'll see, fate holds the key
And every loser knows, the light eternal shows
Will shine on you, and all those who knew
We nearly made it

Suddenly we seemed to stop and lose our way
But did it really matter anyway
For that was yesterday
And we must live for now

Coz every loser wins, once the dream begins
In time we'll see, fate holds the key
And every loser knows, the light eternal shows
Will shine on you, and all those who knew
We nearly made it

Stand up and count me
I know you're on my side
Shine down on me
And those who believe
That we can make it

Seb, that song was just what a manic-depressive needs to read on a Saturday night. I'm off for a long bath with my safety razors. :P

Well this thread gave me 5 minutes amusement here, and there. Otherwise what a lot of effort to cause mild irritation, to few people.

Bit sad really.

Morrace that biography was fantastic! I'd buy it. Well I wouldn't, 'cause I can read it here for free, but y'know. Still good.

It can't be over.

I never got to find out which of Skimmer or Moldoon was the black one.

The jokes on you!

Not again

Is it a Christmas novelty?

Actually I did hear there's a sitcom set in a joke shop in development. Could it be true?

Miranda Hart's Joke Shop is transferring to telly. Though given the choice...
