From the age of about 5 till 12 I used to get given an advent calendar from my religious aunt. When she handed it over she used to ask me "What does 'advent' mean, Dan?" and I used to say "The coming of Jesus".

I'm going to come out as an atheist while we're having Christmas dinner. She'll choke on her sprouts.
