Well done guys. It confirms what I already knew: that there IS talent on these boards.
The Slaggs didn't make it but the only sour grapes are the red wine I'll be drinking later .. along with 500 aspirin. And the consolation is that I'm in great company amongst the non-runners' up.

Apparently we send in more sketches working to this new brief by 5pm Friday. Then wait and hope again I suppose

Just had an e-mail back about the sketches i submitted for their brief. Ive got ten pieces in the YES and MAYBE (if you fiddle with them a bit) piles, which Im pretty over the moon with. Theyve asked me to re-write some, and to also send some more new stuff; so Im one happy chappy at the moment. Obviously doesnt mean anything will end up in the finished show, as they said in an e-mail to me, they will be recording around forty percent more than actually gets into the broadcast shows. Anyway, ill let you know if anything transpires. Anyone else who got asked to submit heard anything more yet?

Is this the second email that was sent out a few weeks ago or is it a third new email? If it is then, congratulations Mathew, but it also means I haven't made it any further.

Its a new one, but it doesnt mean you havent made it any further, they might just not have got to yours yet! Dont be so pessimistic!! Keep the faith! And so on.
