Pick two or three closest people and get them stuff (I choose zooo). Everyone else can bugger off.

I don't buy any presents, I often return gifts if they're not expected.

I am extremely close to family and friends... I can't just choose.
Robyn got a uni interview, but is very tired and has been basically watching porn for all of period 5.
Annoyed. Can't talk my way out of going out with people from work tonight. I have to spend all f**king day with them, now I have to socialise too?! And I can't just say no. It's a small office, promises have been made, if I backed out it would be a tad awkward next week. *sigh*
Family emergency. Say nothing more.
Having to stay in work 45mins after I should because I need to speak to someone and they are 'IN A MEETING'.
Grrrr....

Yeah, just get someone to call you while you're there, and say that it's a family thing. Noone ever asks further about family things.

That's nothing! At uni one of my modules was Sexuality in performance and spent many lecture hiding behing my hands as films were shown of various artists sticking things up their bottoms.
