I posted elsewhere in the forums other so you can imagine my delight to find an entire section dedicated to new comers. I feel I've violated you all slightly by not posting here first though. Having said that, I've been looking through old posts I suspect you all like a jolly good violating every once in while.
I don't know how active I'll be but you're the only forum that has enthused me enough to register on so Hughs nose.
Comedy wise I like what everyone seems to like on here. The likes of The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, Father Ted, Monty Python and the like. I've not noticed any support for Monkey Dust on the forums (but then again it's not been on TV for many a year) but I sodding well loved it. Loved it with the sort passion normally reserved for loved ones, pets and sausages wrapped in bacon. I also used to really love Fist Of Fun.
Anyway, I stumbled on this forum after watching the Charlie Brooker Screenwipe Writer Special and it inspired me to want to pick up a pen and start writing. Never tried properly before and it'll probably end up piffle paffle but you've gotta give it a go haven't you.
