Yeah kind of like a Blue Peter parody I'm sure it's been done before but I can't think of anything recent that's done something like that in audio form.

Glad that people are interested, like I said it's basically just an idea right now but keep throwing ideas around and we can see what we can come up with.

Didn't mean to put you off with Biffovision - but don't worry. Just do it and see. There's loads of things that are similar themes and someone said it was only a pilot.

I've been thinking more about the show, what I was thinking is it has a main host, then it has different segments with various other hosts throughout each episode, with stuff like you see on these kids shows for example "How To Make...whatever"..."Animal Stuff"..."Kids Stories" etc etc. I also think we could target the upbeat on-screen mode of the presenters but also show their depressed side which I'm sure kids tv presenters have as they don't really want to be stuck doing kids tv forever. Also music could play a big part, spoof kids songs/nursery rhymes etc.

Dara O'Brien is always saying that when he was a kids presenter, they all despised each other and were forever trying to make each other look bad. You could bring that into it.

Ah yes that's a good thing to explore.

Try listening to BBC Radio 7, that's a kids radio channel, it should give you some ideas.

Not sure if you're aware but most of it isn't actually for kids. I'm often tuned into BBC7 - loads of classic radio sitcoms and panel shows are repeated on there.

Yeah aimed at adults but using the "kids show" format.

If this is somethign that requires actual sound files, f/x and the like let me in on it. Having spent a good few grand on effects boxes and mics, and having tonnes of material, I want a go!

Subsecirbed to thrad

All bow down to mighty Thrad, he will crush you with his amazing chin. Ohh Thrad...

Poor Thrad. He has eight fingers on each hand. Can't do the simplest things...

Thrad. What a turd I am. I meant, of course, ehtrda

During the day it is, you get some freaky stuff around about 10pm usually. Old Sci Fi mostly.

I have a joke, which I thought of whilst watching CBBC's SMART.

So their doing a Tony Hart style Gallery, with the traditional music, ding-a-ding-ding... Presenter: "Damien aged 9 has sent in his cat, which appears to be soaked in formaldehyde, aw isn't that nice, thanks Damien."

I just like the idea that Damien Hirst would send his stuff into Art Attack or whatever when he was little. But it's really f**ked up stuff, like his pet cat, cut in half, but the presenter isn't fazed by it and thinks it's nice.

Thought I'd note it down here, before I forgot it.

Good idea Leevil and yeah Ed those sound effects will come in very useful.

And Tracy, age 7, has sent sent in these lovely looking piss stained sheets. I think thats very imagininative, don't you John?

A name for the show.."The Learning Curve".

Also Ed do you happen to have the sound file of the music that is played in the background during the "gallery" segments of these shows, there is a specific tune that is in my head but I have no idea what its called.

I do indeed. I'll dig it out.
