I heart Cracker.
Would I be a fool to let this opportunity go? Page 7
Yeah I wrote it. I did a few for em.
No. Did a German sketch show after that.
Quote: Griff @ December 3 2008, 5:36 PM GMTYeah she's in a lot of the Chewin' The Fat sketches too.
Chewin' The Fat is ace.
She's here at 1:21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9i2_E8IJ5s Very funny sketch by the way.
It occurs to me that if this sketch was written in Critique, somebody would say it takes too long to get to the joke.
And then a German sitcom pilot!
You wrote jokes in German?

Surely that sentence is a paradox?
Well my German teacher thought it was hilarious when she asked me in an oral (oo errr) exam "Wann hast du Geburgstag?" and I replied "drei mal in der woche".
And then she threw me out.

Marc, well written, but i thought you were calling me a wanker that's neally as funny.
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ December 3 2008, 6:43 PM GMTSee? I can do German jokes.
"Ich sage, ich sage, ich sage, mein Hund habe keine Nase."
"Wie riecht er?"
"Schrecklich!"
Back to the original question, I am asking myself: whatever walk of life I am in, how likely am I to be impressed by a complete stranger getting hold of my address and writing to me out of the blue? I think I'd find it a bit disturbing. But if this un-named person is very well known in their neighbourhood and everyone knows where they live, that would be a slightly different thing.
I have ended up as indecisive as MDC.
I think.

There is a line in a Holby script on the writersroom site that goes along the lines of a man and his wife with a seriously sick son.
WOMAN:
That's not funny George!
GEORGE:
I don't know. Where would we be if we didn't have a sense of humour, eh son?
SON:
(SHRUGS) I don't know... Germany?

Not with those glasses!

That is RACIST I am phoning the Daily Mail RIGHT NOW to COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS BBC FILTH.
Hah have you read this month's Viz? There's a really funny spoof article called "Stop This BBC Filthy Filth!" which is basically an expose about Jeremy Paxman, going to the toilet at BBC Centre. Something like "Paxman may look like the picture of respectability, but BBC insiders have shockingly told how, minutes after being on air, the deviant has gone into a toilet, pulled down his pants and trousers, and squeezed out lumps of stinking excreta, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time."
It's true though, the Daily Mail will be running a defecating celebrity witch hunt next. "Stop This Filth! £300,000 A Year Brucie In Toilet Turd Shame!"
